Grand Galvez Engagement Session Ending at the Galveston Beach

Lauren and Matthew’s Grand Galvez engagement session was the perfect blend of elegance and coastal charm. The historic Grand Galvez hotel, located right off the Galveston seawall, offered a dreamy, vintage-inspired backdrop with its chandeliers, grand architecture, and black-and-white tiled floors. It’s one of my favorite places to shoot for couples who want a romantic and upscale feel.

Lauren wore a satin white dress that shimmered beautifully in the natural light pouring through the tall windows, and Matthew’s classic black suit was the perfect complement. We started our session inside the hotel, capturing timeless portraits under the golden bell chandeliers and dramatic red staircase. The hotel’s character and rich history brought an old-Hollywood vibe to every photo.

After exploring the indoor and outdoor spaces of Grand Galvez, we headed down to the beach just before sunset. The light was soft, golden, and magical—perfect for relaxed, barefoot moments. They changed into a second, more casual outfit that fit the setting perfectly. The two laughed, ran along the shore, and wrapped each other up in the sweetest embraces.
